My Dog Walk ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the App collects and how it is used.
Location Data The App collects GPS location data while a walk is in progress. This data is used solely to draw your walk route on the map and calculate distance and pace. Location data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to any server or third party.
Usage Data The App does not collect any analytics, crash reports, or usage statistics. No data is sent to the developer or any third party.
Photos If you choose to add a photo to a dog profile, that photo is stored locally on your device only.
Notifications The App may send local notifications for walk reminders and weekly summaries. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any server communication.
All data — including walk history, GPS routes, dog profiles, and badges — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Data is included in your standard iPhone backup if you have iCloud Backup enabled.
The App uses the Apple Weather Kit to fetch current weather conditions at walk start. Only your approximate GPS coordinates are sent to this service to retrieve weather data. No personal information is transmitted.
The App does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The App contains no advertising and no in-app purchases.
