The Constitution of St. Gregory
Preamble We, the citizens of St. Gregory, in the pursuit of liberty, justice, and prosperity, hereby establish this Constitution to govern our nation under the principles of democracy, equality, and the protection of individual rights.
Article I: Presidential Branch
The President should be the head of state and government, elected by the people of St. Gregory.
The Presidential Branch should review and approve or veto laws passed by the Law Branch.
In the event of a veto, laws may be returned to the Law Branch for reconsideration.
The President should have the authority to represent the nation in foreign affairs, with input from the Liberty Branch.
Article II: Law Branch
The Law Branch should be responsible for proposing and passing laws to address the needs of the nation.
It should consist of twenty elected members, representing the diverse regions and communities of St. Gregory.
Proposed laws require the agreement of at least eighteen members before being submitted to the Presidential Branch for final approval.
The Law Branch should also oversee adherence to and enforcement of existing laws.
Article III: Money Branch
The Money Branch should be responsible for managing the nation’s currency, “Goins,” and overseeing the economy.
It should determine the value of the currency and set prices for imports and exports.
The branch should ensure the economic stability and growth of St. Gregory through fiscal policies.
The Money Branch will collaborate with other branches on financial decisions impacting national welfare.
Article IV: Liberty Branch
The Liberty Branch should safeguard the nation’s freedoms and democratic values.
It should consist of twenty elected members who work in tandem with the Law Branch to propose laws.
At least eighteen members must agree on any proposals related to laws, treaties, or declarations of war before forwarding them to the Presidential Branch.
The Liberty Branch should assist in the appointment of government officials and decision-making on national and international policies.
Article V: Forces Branch
The Forces Branch should oversee the military and defense of St. Gregory, including land, air, and naval forces.
It should ensure the security of the nation and its people, both within and beyond its borders.
The Forces Branch should operate under the principles of civilian oversight and collaboration with the Presidential Branch.
Article VI: Rights and Freedoms
All citizens of St. Gregory are entitled to fundamental rights, including freedom of speech, religion, and assembly.
Equality before the law should be guaranteed, with no discrimination based on race, gender, or background.
Citizens should have the right to participate in democratic processes, including voting and running for public office.
Article VII: Language and Traditions
The official language of St. Gregory should be English.
The nation’s traditions should reflect those of English heritage, fostering cultural unity and pride.
National holidays, customs, and celebrations should honor the values and history of St. Gregory.
The national religion of St. Gregory should be Christian Orthodoxy, which reflects the faith and heritage of its citizens.

Article VIII: Citizenship and Documentation
Passports:
Citizens of St. Gregory are entitled to apply for a passport as a recognized travel document.
Passport issuance and renewal processes will follow strict verification of identity and citizenship.
Expedited services may be provided for emergencies or urgent travel.
Visas:
Non-citizens seeking entry into St. Gregory must apply for the appropriate visa based on purpose and duration of stay (e.g., tourist, work, student).
Visa applications should be reviewed by the relevant government authority, with expedited processing available for urgent requests.
Visitors are allowed a maximum stay of up to 90 days within St. Gregory, after which they must either leave the nation or apply for an extension through legal channels.
National Identification Cards (IDs):

Section 1: Equal Rights All citizens of St. Gregory are granted equal rights under the law, regardless of background, identity, or beliefs. Discrimination in any form should be prohibited, and every person should have the freedom to pursue life, liberty, and happiness without unjust restrictions.
Section 2: Voting Rights Every citizen should have the unrestricted right to vote for any candidate or policy they support. Elections should be conducted fairly and transparently, ensuring that the people’s voices are heard and represented.
Section 3: Local Governance Cities and counties within St. Gregory should have the authority to establish and enforce their own local laws, provided they do not conflict with the core principles of the national constitution. Local governments should retain autonomy in managing their communities and affairs.
Section 4: Taxation System The official currency of St. Gregory, the Goin, should maintain a standard tax rate of 0.06 Goins (equivalent to 3 cents) per applicable transaction or income. This taxation system is designed to sustain essential services while minimizing financial burden on citizens. Food does not include taxes. If your county /city has a no tax store that means TAX FREE.
Article XXII: Transportation and Public Mobility
Section 1: Public Transport Identification St. Gregory utilizes a unique index plate system to categorize and distinguish vehicles:
Waterfall Plate: Reserved for private citizens.
Beach Plate: Designates public transportation vehicles, including taxis, buses, Ubers, and similar services.
Capitol Building Plate: Identifies government-owned vehicles. The rescue team has the capitol building on its index plate too.
Section 2: Taxi and Ride Services The nation of St. Gregory officially recognizes taxis, ride-sharing services, and public transit as essential components of urban mobility. These services should be accessible, regulated, and safely maintained to serve all citizens effectively.
Section 3: Driver Licenses and Training All professional drivers operating taxis, buses, and other public transport should undergo proper licensing and safety training to ensure high standards of service and security for passengers.
Section 4: Sustainability Initiatives St. Gregory encourages the use of eco-friendly and energy-efficient transport options, including electric taxis, hybrid buses, and green infrastructure to support sustainable urban development.
Section 5: Transportation Accessibility Cities and counties should establish affordable and efficient transit systems, ensuring all citizens can easily access reliable public transportation. Mobile apps, kiosks, and booking services should be provided for convenient travel options.
