I had heard amazing things about Devin and Alan but they completely exceeded my expectations. From beginning to end Devin guided me through all the preparation and curated my wedding day timeline. But on the actual day they were even better. I had so much fun with them and the results we got back where even better. I cannot recommend them enough they are basically family at this point.

These two had a couple traditional aspects, like a first dance and parent dances, but other than that? This was just an incredible party! I loved every second of it, and am so glad I got to be there to celebrate with everyone!

Heather Hall is a weddings, fashion, and lifestyle writer and editor. Her career in weddings began at The Knot, where she worked as a bridal fashion editor. She then worked as a PR Manager at Amsale, a bridal design house, before starting her own events and digital marketing business. She has been featured on Today.com, MSN.com, Yahoo.com, Racked.com, Huffington Post, Verily Magazine, and Style Me Pretty. Heather loves music, travel, and practicing yoga. In her spare time she's typically researching the next fun workout class to try, or finding a new concert to attend. Her latest goal: become a DJ.

Conceived by Tony, Grammy, and Olivier Award-winning Director Scott Wittman, with music direction by Bette Sussman, the celebration brings hundreds of couples together for a multicultural ceremony with various faith leaders, live musical performances from special guests, and culminates with desserts, karaoke, and a joyous party. Come celebrate love with us!

New York's Biggest Day is hosted by NYC legend, comedian, and international entertainer Murray Hill. The ceremony includes special performances by Met Opera soprano Latonia Moore, a duet with New York City Ballet's Sara Mearns and Robbie Fairchild choreographed by Josh Bergasse, and a string quartet of current students and alumni from The Juilliard School, as well as long-time Lincoln Center friends Bridget Everett and Dan Finnerty, Jaime Lozano and Florencia Cuenca, and the Young People's Chorus of New York City. Couples will process in and out of the ceremony to the energetic and exciting sounds of the Jina Brass Band. The evening culminates in an epic party on the Dance Floor hosted by drag icon and DJ, Lady Bunny.

Escaping to the desert promises dry heat and breathtaking views, unique architecture, and boho-chic venues for city weddings in Phoenix. From uniquely-designed hotels to nature-focused properties, everything from classic to modern weddings are held in this state.

From the photo-worthy Rocky Steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art to breathtaking views of the Delaware River, Philly is iconic for so many reasons. American and pop culture history is everywhere, making this inspired place perfect for city weddings of all kinds.

The Pacific Northwest offers so much, especially when it comes to city weddings infused with plenty of nature. Since Seattle is located on Puget Sound, both water and mountains are within reach (and within frame, for those epic wedding photos!)

Selecting the perfect colour scheme for your wedding decor can set the tone for your celebrations. You can seek inspiration from your wedding theme, the wedding venue or the season of your wedding. Couples traditionally choose pastels for spring, vibrant hues for summer, rich tones for fall and cool colours for winter.

Dreaming of the perfect destination wedding? Caesars Weddings can help you plan the perfect affair. Not only do we offer a variety of packages, we also specialize in customizing the venue to accommodate the endless dreamer.

Between Labor Day Weekend and Memorial Day Weekend (September to May), weddings are permitted at most City parks and beaches. During peak summer months (Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend), beach weddings are only permitted on the four beaches below the bluffs at Heisler Park (North Main Beach, Rockpile Beach, Picnic Beach and Divers Cove Beach).

Wedding permits are issued for a two-hour period. Please allow sufficient time for decorating, the ceremony, photographs, and clean-up within your allotted time. If you would like a beach wedding, please schedule your ceremony for low tide.

Your wedding permit allows a beautiful, but simple ceremony. You may not set up tables, chairs, archways, or structures for the wedding. Wedding sites must be accessible to the public at all times; you cannot rope off or reserve your wedding area in any way. You are not allowed to block public pathways.

One of the main reasons why Greenville, SC makes such a great destination wedding location is the fact that the downtown area has been carefully and purposefully developed. A few decades ago, Main Street was not a place to go visit. People would come downtown to work, and then they would leave. With the help of some visionary leaders, Greenville has been transformed and is now on many of the top destination lists!

In addition to providing insight into the wedding world, I also like to share some personal updates on here, too! Well, this one is personal and professional, as I am now focusing on my wedding coordination business full time!

As I said, in 2016, I coordinated twenty-one weddings, including one in Philadelphia for a sweet acquaintance of mine from the event world. I also transitioned from a real estate development job in NC (I had been driving an hour each way) to a job with a local festival downtown in Greenville, SC (and my commute is now one mile). I am doing event-based work all of the time now, and I tend to see quite a bit of overlap in contacts between the wedding and festival worlds.

A little while back I had the opportunity to spend a fun evening with Lindsey from Liquid Catering, our favorite professional bartending company in Greenville, SC. I had picked up a bottle of Pearl Wedding Cake Vodka because it seemed like a fun challenge, and I reached out to her to create some celebratory wedding cocktail recipes.

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of coordinating weddings for two couples that are dear friends of mine. They were actually Saturday and Sunday weddings on the same weekend at Furman, and the schedule worked out perfectly where I was able to coordinate both. It was a jam-packed few days, but they were full of fun, happiness, and very sweet moments.

So FH's groomsmen live all over the state. Every single one of them lives in a different city these days. How in the world do I get them in matching formal wear that fits them? I'm considering having them get their measurements taken then just ordering their clothes myself and having them reimburse me the cost?? Any suggestions?

I'm doing exactly that! My FH best man lives in Israel and is not coming until a week before the wedding. I decided to ask him for his measurement then order the tux for him since it is a rental anyways. I was planning on getting him I the store the day after he lands to make sure everything fits

We have a similar problem with groomsmen living out of state. The store that we're renting the tuxes from gave us a list of stores that can take their measurements. The groomsmen will pay for the tuxes, they will be ordered, and they will try them on a couple days before the wedding to make any final adjustments.

That's what we are doing, just have them go to any tux store in their area and they can usually get measured for free, just explain that it's for an out of town wedding. And they can always pay you up front or reimburse you.

We're in China and the groomsmen are all in different states from the location of the wedding, which will be in Ohio. We're using Tuxedo Junction. They're having us send in measurements now, which can be taken by any suit retailer or tuxedo rental place (or done at home), and then they told us that final fittings were taken a week before the wedding. We've acknowledged that only FH will be in town at that point, so the measurements will have to do!

We did exactly that. All our guys live overseas so we had them go and get measurements and shoe sizes and then we ordered suits for them. Since the suits come untailored, we have each one get fitted when they come for a visit. Only one of FH's brothers won't be visiting before the wedding so for him we're having him fly in the Tuesday before and have already arranged with the tailor to get him fitted asap. I feel better not having to worry about them flying over with the suit and possibiliy forgetting it. This way I'll know everything is here and ready for them on the day. ff782bc1db
