The core focus of the game allows for the player to race supercross on motocross bikes or ATVs, similar to Reflex, Alive and the Nintendo DS version of Untamed. The game features 17 Supercross Tracks for both MX and ATV riding and a career mode with 5 series (250 East, 250 West, 450 MX, 450 ATV, 450 MX vs. ATV). There are also more than 80 motocross companies in the game to ensure authenticity and 40 riders to race against. New physics and control system including reinterpreting the "pre-load" from the original MX vs ATV games is also introduced in the new game. The game received regular content updates. As for multiplayer, it can have up to 12 players. Split-screen is also available for two local players.[1]

Hi guys, all out and supercross encore are on sales on Xbox so i want to buy one. What is the best ? I played MX vs Atv unleashed when i was young.. I think i prefer the physic of All out but i don't know.. Which is the most complete ? All out or Supercross Encore have real brand bikes like yamaha, ktm ect? Or it's in the dlc ? I just got reflex for free on Xbox games with gold and I am loving it! I played MX VS ATV unleashed when I was a kid and that was amazing. But I've seen a lot of negative reviews towards MX vs ATV supercross encore, since I have reflex is it a upgrade to buy supercross encore? Also does anyone know if supercross encore is the last MX VS ATV game of the series?

The MX vs. ATV series has been around for quite some time, and Rainbow Studios is no stranger to the source material. Ever since it marked its seal with the PlayStation 2 exclusive series ATV Offroad Fury, the developer has been pumping out off-road racers with regularity. But while its games have always entertained fans, the last few entries have taken a turn for the worse. This time, the studio has remastered its most recent PlayStation 3 instalment, MX vs. ATV Supercross, and dubbed it MX vs. ATV Supercross Encore for the PlayStation 4. However, is this really an encore performance or is there mud in its tires?

Start a Free Ride on Phoenix and set the timer to 10 minutes and repeat the location up to 5-6 times. Load in and ride to the outside of the map, ignoring the supercross track entirely. Now just ride at full speed around the map's perimeter and the achievement should unlock by 6th location change (the map will repeat itself if you've set it up correctly) depending on if you've already done any Free Ride mileage or not. The achievement unlocks when 100 miles have been traveled in multiplayer Free Roam events and the game saves after the event has ended.

MX vs ATV Supercross Encore is a port of the last generation game of the same title minus encore with some upgrades for the current consoles. That being said on Xbox One this game is just a mess with so performance issues that it's incredible actually. I'm going to go over that a bit more under gameplay so for now we'll focus on what the core of Supercross is. The game feels rather dated having menus that looked very old and tie together a flimsy campaign of sorts. This is really just a series of levels so you're better off to just play quickplay or online. There's a wide selection of levels to race on a good variety of modes to race with in order to change up the action. This varies from obviously racing with MX or ATV selection across dirty trails where dirt spits up into the air as you battle the awkward controls to stay on track.

In the quickplay area you're able to do regular races; rhythm races which are new, some random checkpoint ones or just generally free ride on the levels available. While there's a good selection unlocked you'll also need to race in order to unlock more of them. The game features a bit of customization though this is largely vehicle focused and even then I could barely focus on the details while racing anyways. When jumping online there's a vast selection of modes to play in so there's a mode for everyone and the ability to create a private match if you'd like. The online seemed to function fine when playing so no complaints there and if filled it's a full wild game of action.
