MWEPS

Midwest Workshop in Empirical Political Science

Tejuosho Market, Lagos, Nigeria

MWEPS brings together graduate students and junior and associate-level faculty using empirical methods to study the political economy of development and governance in the developing world. The workshop seeks to replicate the success of NEWEPS, convening scholars at universities based in the Midwest (broadly defined) working in Political Science and related fields. The conference rotates among universities roughly every semester.

Our next workshop -- MWEPS XI --  will be  hosted in-person by  Pennsylvania State University  on March 29, 2024. See Workshops for more information.
