ABOUT US
Mechanicsville Choirs have a long tradition of choral excellence and showcase many of the community’s best singers. The Choral department is made up of two Show Choirs: Madz: a mixed show choir, and New Horizons: a treble choir. Mechanicsville’s show choirs perform throughout the community and compete yearly in Central Virginia’s show choir competitions. There are 3 concert choirs, which make up the rest of the choral department: Mechanicsville Singers, Bel Canto (sopranos and altos) and Cantus (tenors and basses). The Mechanicsville Concert Choirs perform regularly at school events, community events, and assessments.
