FIRE DEPARTMENT

Pursuant to the Revised Statute of Missouri §320 the Fire Department is charged to provide the highest level of protection of life and property through fire and emergency services operations, fire prevention, public fire education, emergency vehicle maintenance, and training.

Furthermore, this department carries out day to day enforcement of mandated fire and life safety codes and regulations including the inspection of properties for fire code violations and the review of building plans for life safety code compliance. The purpose of this is to prevent and reduce the loss of life, injuries, and property damage due to fire in any occupancy.
