The section "From the history of our area" presents materials reflecting the most important events and personalities of the settlements of the Ozersk village Council, which existed from 1940 to 2013. Unfortunately, our area is not so richly saturated with historical events compared to others. If we add to this the low, boggy nature of the relief around the two deep lakes, then everything becomes clear. Therefore, any historical find, information-for us a great value. The villages of the Ozerkovsky village Council have existed for a long time-since the beginning of the XV century.most Of them since the time of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania belonged to mayenk Derechin, whose most famous owners were Sapieha and Polubinsky. That is why then and during the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth our area was part of the Novogrudok Voivodeship Slonimsky povet Derechinsky parish.
