About Me
I am a Computational Biophysicist.
I am currently a PhD Student at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore working under the guidance of Prof. Govardhan Reddy.Â
My research focuses on the application of statistical thermodynamics and molecular dynamics simulations to investigate various aspects of biophysical chemistry. Currently, I am investigating the role of metal ions in the folding mechanisms of riboswitches and assessing the permeability of cyclic peptides across cellular membranes using molecular dynamics simulations. Additionally, I am interested in exploring the co-transcriptional folding dynamics of riboswitches through coarse-grained modeling approaches and employing well-tempered metadynamics for membrane simulations. I also wanted to apply machine learning and deep learning techniques in my future work.
Beyond my academic pursuits, I enjoy staying active and engaging in sports such as frisbee, badminton, and table tennis. I value spending quality time with family and friends, which provides a perfect balance to my research-focused life.
