If you want a soft, breathable headband that doubles as a comfortable sleep aid and offers the latest Bluetooth 5.4 stability for kids or adults who need to stay connected without ear pressure, choose MUSICOZY 5.4; if you need rugged, fully waterproof bone conduction headphones with built-in storage for swimming and total situational awareness while running, choose PSIER Bone Conduction Headphones.
• MUSICOZY 5.4: The standout strength is its dual-purpose design as a premium spandex-nylon headband that provides comfort for sleeping and light sports, but it lacks true waterproofing and has a shorter battery life compared to dedicated swim gear. This pick is for anyone seeking a hifi stereo bluetooth headset that feels like a simple accessory rather than bulky tech.
• PSIER Bone Conduction Headphones: The clear winner here is its IPX8 waterproof rating and massive 32GB internal memory, making it the ultimate tool for underwater use, though the open-ear design and heavier plastic build might not suit those looking for a soft sleep headband. This pick is for athletes who demand a best sweat resistant headphones solution that can handle submersion and requires a transparency mode clip on earbuds for vlogging or outdoor safety.
The MUSICOZY 5.4 stands out immediately because of its material construction. Unlike traditional headphones that press against your ears, this device wraps around your head in a fabric blend of spandex and nylon. That specific combination is engineered for breathability and elasticity, which makes it an ideal companion for nighttime sleep or low-intensity activities like yoga. When you are lying on your side, hard plastic housings can be painful, but this stretchable fabric distributes the weight evenly. The 90-gram weight is negligible, ensuring that the device does not shift or cause irritation during long periods of rest.
For families looking for a safe audio solution for children, this model offers a distinct advantage. The soft fabric enclosure means there are no hard edges or rigid components that could hurt a child's head or hair. It effectively merges the function of a standard sports headband with wireless audio capabilities. You get the convenience of listening to audiobooks or calming music without the distraction of over-ear cups or in-ear buds. The Bluetooth 5.4 technology ensures a stable connection up to 10 meters, allowing parents to leave their devices nearby while the child relaxes or plays.

However, this product is not designed for high-intensity water sports. While it handles sweat well due to its synthetic fabric, it does not carry an IPX8 rating. If you plan to swim laps or use it in heavy rain, the electronics inside the fabric housing are not sealed against submersion. Additionally, the battery life of 14 hours is excellent for a full day of use, but the charging time of 2 hours is standard. It is best suited for users who prioritize comfort and versatility over extreme durability. If you need a device that acts as a hifi stereo bluetooth headset for quiet moments, this is the one to buy. If you need something to survive a pool session, look elsewhere.
The PSIER Bone Conduction Headphones take a completely different approach to audio delivery. Instead of blocking your ears, these devices sit in front of them, using bone conduction drivers to transmit sound through your cheekbones directly to your inner ear. This "open-ear" design is a game-changer for outdoor enthusiasts who need to hear traffic, cyclists, or other people around them. The transparency is absolute; you never lose touch with your environment. This makes them an exceptional choice for runners, cyclists, and anyone working in busy urban areas where situational awareness is critical.
What truly sets this unit apart from almost every other wireless headphone on the market is its ability to go underwater. With a certified IPX8 waterproof rating, you can submerge these headphones up to two meters deep for an hour. The manufacturer explicitly notes that you must switch to MP3 mode when in water, as Bluetooth signals do not travel well through liquid. The inclusion of 32GB of internal storage allows you to load thousands of songs directly onto the device. This means you can leave your phone behind entirely, dive into a pool, and enjoy your playlist without any tether. For swimmers, this feature alone makes it the superior option.
The build quality reflects its intended use case. The enclosure is made of durable plastic designed to withstand harsh conditions, and the fit is secured with adjustable straps and soft silicone cushions. While this makes them robust, they lack the softness of a fabric headband. They are not designed to be worn while lying down to sleep, as the rigid structure would likely cause discomfort. The battery life of 8 hours is sufficient for most training sessions, and the fast magnetic charging gets you back to full power in just 1.5 hours. If you are an athlete who needs best sweat resistant headphones that can also double as swimming gear, this is the only logical choice.

I recommend the MUSICOZY 5.4 if your primary goal is to find a comfortable, safe, and versatile device for kids wireless audio consumption or personal relaxation. Its soft fabric design solves the pain points of hard plastic headphones, making it perfect for sleep and casual listening. However, if your lifestyle revolves around intense physical activity, particularly swimming, I would choose the PSIER Bone Conduction Headphones for their unmatched durability and unique underwater capabilities. In my opinion, the MUSICOZY wins on comfort and daily versatility, while the PSIER dominates in specialized athletic performance.
Only the PSIER Bone Conduction Headphones are suitable for swimming, as they hold an IPX8 waterproof rating and have internal MP3 storage for offline playback underwater. The MUSICOZY 5.4 is not waterproof enough for submersion.
The MUSICOZY 5.4 offers superior battery endurance with up to 14 hours of continuous playback, compared to the 8 hours provided by the PSIER model.
Yes, the PSIER Bone Conduction Headphones use an open-ear design that keeps your ears uncovered, allowing you to hear ambient sounds like traffic. The MUSICOZY 5.4 covers the ears, so it does not offer the same level of environmental transparency.
