As a school project, I had to code a music player in Java using Android studio. I really enjoyed it and thought I could make a cool open project out of it. So I uploaded everything to Github and organized it as well as I could. I am new to open-source projects, so I have no idea how to approach this. That's where your help comes in place. I'm searching for all kinds of people, willing to spend some free time creating a music player app. It's my first project and I'm really struggling at finding contributors on Github, so if anyone of you could help me I would highly appreciate it. Feedback is obviously always welcome and I will definitely use this for my learning experience. Thank you very much to everyone in advance.

I am making a audio player in my app. It is using a viewlist and all is working perfectly. I can start pause, next music stream. I am loading an url to play the music. When i close the app the music stops playing. I needed to continue playing. I have read something about audio focus. But i am not tally sure how to add it to the code. I have in my manifest the wake_lock.

Android smartphones usually come with their own built-in apps to listen to music. However, you might not like all of their features. What if instead of downloading a third-party app, you could create your own music player in Android?

In this tutorial series, we will create a basic music player application for Android. The app will present a list of songs on the user device, so that the user can select a song to play. The app will also present controls for interacting with the playback and will continue playing when the user moves away from the app, with a notification displayed during playback.

Creating a music player is more complicated than creating something like a calculator. This is primarily because you can code or create everything that you will need in a calculator by yourself. However, in a music player, you will have to rely on the system to provide songs and play the music. Therefore, it is important to know how we can use different classes and services in Android to create a music player. There are also other differences, such as keeping the music going even if the user has navigated away from the app.

I think Bluetooth exposes some generic commands that allow you to control apps on a phone. This is how the "play" or "pause" buttons on your vehicle control let's say a music player on your phone. The fact that the app can be anything such as YouTube or Spotify tells me its generic.

Android project idea: The next android project idea is to build a food delivery application for passengers traveling long distances by train. Since not everyone likes the food served at railway stations, it is always a good option to order food online and make the journey even more pleasant. This application would require three modules- the restaurant/caf, the delivery person, and the passengers. All three would be able to log in to the application. After logging in they will be prompted for user role selection.

The next advanced android project idea is the E-banking application. This application would work as the moderator between the users and banks. The users can create and maintain their accounts, set or change passwords and avail themselves of the bank facilities without having to go there physically. They can transfer money online and their transactions will be saved in the application. The app will start out with a login screen, in which the user can either log in with an existing profile or click a button and create a new profile. When signed in, the user will be brought to their dashboard page and will be prompted to make their first account. Additionally, there will be a menu that includes all of the options for the app, including Dashboard, Account Overview (and subsequently Transactions), Deposits, Payments, Transfers, Profile Settings, and Logout.
