I developed curriculum, events, and organized students and staff, directing them to complete ambitious tasks. My student base was diverse, including young children, seniors, people who speak English as a second language, and those with disabilities.

The Upstarters' mission statement is to present a spectrum of genres (often unlikely combinations) in the most fun way possible so that every audience member will enjoy it. This Pop-music approach fosters appreciation for genres people may not have been exposed to. Our music and professionalism have led to work with world-famous bands and festivals.
