Candidate for Ramsey City Council Ward 4
Debra Musgrove is announcing her candidacy for Ramsey City Council Ward 4. Musgrove filed her paperwork on June 1st, 2018 for the position vacated by Chris Riley who ran for the Ramsey City Council At-Large position.
A resident of Ramsey Ward 4 since 2009, she is looking forward to getting involved to serve Ramsey Ward 4 taxpayers. “My goal is to strive for responsible growth in city government, keeping Ramsey a great place to live and to do business,” said Musgrove.
Musgrove has worked for 30 years in the practice of Physical Therapy and currently works at Monticello Nova Care. She graduated from St Mary’s Junior College with an Associates of Applied Science degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She is licensed in good standing with the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy.
She is a single parent with two children. Her daughter is a Junior in college and her son will be a senior attending Legacy Christian Academy this fall. They attend Nowthen Alliance church where she volunteers at the Koinonia Kafe, and Vacation Bible School family night. She loves to read history and world events.
While living in Ramsey she has served as an election judge. She has been elected to the Executive Committee of Senate District 35 GOP as a Vice Chair A side since 2013 and has chaired the Search and Nominating Committee since 2017. She has been a lead for activities including Anoka County Fair Republican booth and assisted in other outreach activities.
There will be a Primary election for Ward 4 on August 14th, and the general election on November 6th, 2018. Voting locations and dates for early/absentee voting can be found here.
