THE THIRD WORLD WAR

The cartoon, made by Eduardo Vieira Romano, Nícolas Righi de Franceschi and Pedro Bermudes Costa Beber, proposes a reflection on the important work that doctors, researchers and scientists are doing in this pandemic moment. In order to demonstrate the importance and the risk to which they are exposed, a comparison is made with the past of humanity, where in different historical periods children saw their parents go to fight for their future, in battles, in the same way that nowadays children see their parents working hard to guarantee a future for the health of humanity. To assist in the understanding of such idea, two phrases were used to explain the role that health workers and others currently have.

The cartoon was fundamentally developed by hand on a scratch sheet, and then was scanned and improved with a computer program, Photoshop.
