Detail of the graffiti in the semi-underground oilve oil mill (17th century)

Along the western wall of the olive oil mill you may see graffiti depicting the Battle of Lepanto. Due to the detailed representation, the unknown author was likely to be an eyewitness of this event, which put an end to the Turkish expansion in the Mediterranean Sea in 1571.
