Pandora's Box
Zeus, father of all gods, once got angry with humans and wanted to punish them. He asked god Hephaestus to make a woman out of clay. Hephaestus created a real masterpiece and the other gods breathed life into it turning it into a gorgeous woman. The gods taught her how to weave, dress and many other skills. Zeus named her Pandora and sent her to Earth as a gift to a mortal man, Epimetheus. Before she left Mt.Olympus, Zeus gave her a box telling her never to open it.
Pandora married Epimetheus and they lived happily together. However, she was constantly wondering what was inside the box. She could hardly resist opening it, which she finally did. She had barely lifted the lid to take a quick glance when, in the blink of an eye, the room was filled with all sorts of horrible things: disease, despair, malice, arrogance, racism, hatred, violence, cruelty, greed, war, death and more was yet to come...
Pandora panicked and burst into tears. She hurried to close the box when at last she saw hope emerging. Zeus had not been mistaken in that decision either. He wanted to punish humans and for that reason he sent them all that pain and suffering but he also gave them hope - which famously dies last – so they could cope with it all.

...inside of the box she found a smaller box. She opened it and saw a tiny teddy bear. It was small but very special to Pandora. It wasn’t an ordinary bear, it was magical. He made all the days special. When Pandora got old, she gave the bear to her grandchildren and it became a family tradition – to pass the teddy from generation to generation.
