Mullins Point Rear Range Lighthouse ILLW 2021

Built in 1894, the Mullins Point Lighthouse (CAN-327) was in service from 1894 to 1965.

The Lighthouse has been a private residence since it was purchased from the Canadian Government in 1965

The Mullins Point Rear Range Lighthouse was recognized as a provincial heritage structure in 1990 and placed on the Canadian Register of Historic Places in 2007.

Much planning is going into making 2021 more successful than the first activation in 2020. A custom built mast will be erected on the tower to increase the antenna height to 50 ft.

Updates will be published on the History and Station Information page.

Due to illness, I will not be operating from the lighthouse in 2021.

I will be be back at Mullins Point in 2022.

Station Operator is William Sproul, VA1BIL
