Muhammad Sajid Riaz

Introduction: I am doing PhD in Electrical & Computer Engineering as a Graduate Research Assistant from The University of Oklahoma. Before joining AI4Networks Research Center@OU, I worked as a Lecturer at department of computer science, Air University Islamabad, Pakistan from January 2017 to August 2019. Prior to this I worked as Assistant Professor at Dr. A.Q. Khan Institute of Computer Science & Information Technology for 2 years. I was teaching basic and advanced computer programming courses i.e Object Oriented Programming (C++), Data Structures and Algorithms (C++), Visual Programming (C#), Mobile Application Development (Java, Android Studio), Advanced Web Development (PHP, Jquery, Bootstrap).

Before joining academia I worked in software industry for 4 years as team lead, software engineer and senior software engineer, I have good hands-on experience with programming languages like PHP (Zend framework), MySql, Java, Flutter, C#, Python, C++, VB script, MATLAB, Javascript, HTML and CSS. I worked on different libraries and frameworks like Jquery, Bootstrap, TensorFlow, Keras, scikit-learn, NumPy, Pandas to name few. I worked on tools like, Android Studio, Spyder, Jupyter Notebook and Atoll RF Planner are few worth naming.

As an under-graduate student my final year project was "Detection of Ischemic ST deviation episode in the ECG" which completed successfully and rewarded me with an international conference publication co-authored with my respected supervisor and co-supervisor.

My research publications gives good view of the fact that i have good aptitude for Research, my topics of interest as a researcher are Machine Learning, Healthcare, Biomedical Signal Processing, Self Organizing Networks and IoT.
