Welcome to **AI Coffee Mug Design Maker** ("we", "our", or "us"). We are strongly committed to protecting your privacy and being fully transparent about how we handle data, especially concerning the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within our application.
This Privacy Policy explains exactly what data we collect, how we collect it, all uses of that data, and who it is shared with, in strict compliance with App Store Guidelines regarding Data Collection and Data Use.
## 1. What Data We Collect
We believe in data minimization. We do not require you to create an account, and we **do not** collect personal identifying information such as your name, email address, phone number, or physical address.
The only data we collect and process is:
- **Text Prompts (User Input):** The text descriptions you type directly into the App to describe the coffee mug mockup, cup print artwork, or mug design concept you wish to generate.
- **Anonymous Usage Data:** We may collect anonymous, non-identifying crash logs (such as app crash times and device models) to help us find bugs and improve app stability.
- **Transaction Data:** If you purchase a subscription or credits, the transaction is processed entirely and securely by Apple. We only receive an anonymous digital receipt to validate your premium status. We do not collect, process, or see your credit card or payment information.
## 2. How We Collect That Data
- **Text Prompts:** This data is collected strictly through your direct input. We only collect your text prompt at the exact moment you tap the "Generate" button within the app. We do not read your clipboard or monitor your keystrokes.
- **Usage Data:** Crash logs are collected automatically by the system only if the app experiences an unexpected error.
- **Permissions:** If you choose to save a generated image to your device, the App will request permission to save to your Photo Library. **We do not read, scan, upload, or modify your existing photos.** We only write the newly generated image to your device.
## 3. All Uses of That Data
Your data is used strictly and exclusively for the following purposes:
- **To Provide the Service:** Your text prompts are used for the sole purpose of instructing our AI models to generate the specific coffee mug mockup images you requested.
- **To Improve the App:** Anonymous crash logs are used exclusively for debugging and maintaining app performance.
**We do NOT use your text prompts for marketing, advertising, profiling, or selling to data brokers.**
## 4. Third-Party AI Services and Data Sharing
To generate high-quality coffee mug mockups and custom cup print concepts from your text, the App must share your text prompts with trusted third-party AI service providers.
Before you use the generation feature for the first time, our app clearly identifies who this data is sent to and explicitly asks for your permission via an in-app consent modal.
**Who your data is sent to:**
1. **OpenAI, L.L.C.:** We send your raw text prompt to OpenAI via their secure API. OpenAI is used to enhance, translate, and optimize your text into a detailed prompt suitable for professional image generation.
2. **Replicate, Inc. (and Black Forest Labs):** We send the optimized text prompt to Replicate via their secure API to access their image generation models, which render the final coffee mug mockup image.
**Confirmation of Equal Protection:**
We confirm that these third-party AI services (OpenAI and Replicate) provide the same or equal protection of your user data as outlined in this Privacy Policy.
- Data sent via their enterprise APIs is **strictly processed to return the image to you**.
- We confirm that your data (text prompts) is **NOT** used by OpenAI or Replicate to train their public AI models.
- Data transmission to these services is protected using industry-standard encryption protocols (HTTPS/TLS).
## 5. Data Storage and Retention
- **Local Storage:** The images generated for you, your generation history, and your remaining credit balance are stored locally on your device. We do not store your generated images or prompt history on our external servers.
- **Data Deletion:** Because your prompt history and images are stored locally on your device, you can delete all of this data at any time simply by deleting the app from your device.
## 6. Children's Privacy
Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take steps to delete it immediately.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top.
