Mud Creek Baptist Church was founded on June 21, 1821, just 3 years after Habersham County. For 200 years, our church as served as a lighthouse on the side of the road in the Mud Creek Community. It's a place where so many have come to know the Lord as their Savior, many who have strayed have come back to Him,  couples have vowed to stand together in marriage, saints have lain in state as their funerals were preached, and where those who love the Lord attend today to praise Him and worship Him in spirit and in truth.
