I am a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Porto under the supervision of Professor Ana Cristina Montero Moreira (sigarra.up.pt/fep/en/func_geral.formview?p_codigo=718173). I got my PhD in Mathematical Analysis and Application from SISSA, Trieste, Italy under the Supervision of Professor Stefano Luzzatto (www.math.sissa.it/users/muhammad-mubarak ).
My research area is Ergodic Theory and Dynamical Systems (ETDS). It is an area of mathematics that uses geometric and analytic tools to study statistical behavior of dynamical systems (DS). In particular, I study rates of mixing and limit theorems for invariant measures of slowly mixing systems which includes the famous Pomeau-Manneville (PM) maps which has one intermittent fixed point that model transition of fluids flow between long period of laminar flow followed by abrupt turbulence burst.
