This pages shows statistics on aggregated ratings for each color of the set. If you want to know more about the underlying data, you'll find more here.

Some insights derived from the findings below:

  • Black is the strongest color in a vacuum; Blue is the weakest color in a vacuum, but not by much as, apart from Black, all the colors' aggregated absolute ratings are very close to each other - NB: it doesn't mean that Blue is the weakest color altogether! but it does mean that its cards are weaker on their own that that of the other colours.

  • Only limited changes in the ranking between aggregated ratings for floor and ceiling. Black stays very strong.

  • If we break down by rarities, Blue actually gets the second spot at Common, ex-aequo with Green, but still behind Black; Red has the best set of Uncommons in a vacuum, as well as the best Mythic Rares there; Black gets the lead on Rares.

  • Green is the most supportive and the least supported color; Black is actually the least supportive color, while the most supported

  • White fares the best in micro-synergies overall if inward and outward improvements are aggregated, while Red fares the worst.
