Hello Greenville Dragons! My name is Ms. Vazquez and I am super excited to teach 6th grade for the fourth year at Greenville! I was born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan and moved to Utah when I was 18. This will be my 8th year being an elementary school teacher and I love it! I taught 6th grade in the Alpine School District for 3 years, 5th grade in Tooele for 1 year, and 6th grade at Greenville for the last 3 years. I recently graduated from USU with my Master’s Degree in Educational Technology and Learning Sciences. I am fluent in Spanish and love to speak it any chance I get. I have two beautiful daughters. I had the privilege of being my youngest daughter’s 6th grade teacher and now she attends USU. My oldest daughter attends the University of Utah.
I consider myself to be a lifelong learner. I love learning new things and I enjoy the satisfaction of finding solutions to challenging problems. I do my best to make sure that all of my students know that I love them and care about them - not just as students learning new things but also as fellow human beings on this adventure we call life!
