The Michigan State University Chinese Faculty Club (MSU-CFC) was established in 1996. It is an unincorporated non-profit, non-political organization for professional activities. The mission of the Club includes the following:
(i) to promote interactions among its members and to promote their interests and priorities;
(ii) to exchange ideas on how to thrive at the Michigan State University and how to excel as an educator, researcher, and community contributor;
(iii) to enhance communications among the Chinese faculty community, University leadership, and other community groups on campus;
(iv) to serve as a support network to University mission and affairs;
(v) to promote academic and cultural exchanges between the Chinese community and other ally communities.
Membership of the MSU-CFC is open to faculty of Chinese heritage at MSU, regardless of their country of origin or citizenship, and to other MSU members interested in supporting the mission and goals of the Club. Memberships are subject to approval by the Executive Committee.
