JD, PhD, is an Associate Professor at Michigan State University (MSU), School of Human Resources and Labor Relations (HRLR).

Affiliated faculty at MSU’s College of Law and MSU’s Center for Gender in a Global Context.

Received her B.S. in Management/International Business from New York University’s Stern School of Business in 1991, her Juris Doctor in 1993 from Florida State University’s College of Law, and her Ph.D. in Business Administration (Major: Organizational Behavior/Human Resources, Minor: Strategic Management) in 2005 from Florida State University’s College of Business.

Bio
Angela is a first generation Panamanian-American and grew up on the Southside of Chicago. She is married to Gary, her law school sweetheart. They share a daughter, Sierra Rain, who is Angela’s best friend.


Angela is the author of 30 academic papers and book chapters, which have been cited over 5000 times. Angela’s research has appeared in such journals as the Journal of Organizational Behavior, Human Relations, Personnel Psychology, and Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes. She is currently an Associate Editor for the Africa Journal of Management.


Angela is also a frequent instructor for executive education programs and is often cited in the popular media. She is a regular consultant to both Fortune 500 companies and small to medium-sized organizations. Angela has also authored learning modules and cases for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Angela is the host of a podcast series, People Talk with Angela Hall.
