About me: I hold a masters degree in economics from Free University Berlin, and a bachelor degree from the Berlin School of Economics and Law. Throughout my studies I have specialized in macroeconomics, macro-finance and applied econometrics.
In addition, I constantly gained work experience in the field of applied macroeconomic research, e.g. European Stability Mechanism, European Central Bank, Deutsche Bank AG, Deutsche Bundesbank, German Insurance Association, German Council of Economic Experts, Institute for Employment Research, and Germany Trade & Invest.
Previously, I worked as an Economist at the European Stability Mechanism, Economic and Market Analysis Section in the Chief Economist Department. Prior, I worked for the European Central Bank at the Fiscal Policies Division in Directorate General Economics.
Fields of interest: Empirical Macroeconomics and Macro-Finance, Applied Econometrics, as well as Monetary and Macroeconomic Policy, and Financial Stability.
At the moment I am analysing the empirical relationship between nominal and real yield curve dynamics and the frictions created via liquidity risk embedded in inflation-protected treasury securities.
