MSTD is a one day workshop that aims to bring together researchers from the mid-southern states, including (but not limited to) Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. The workshop focus is on theoretical computer science research areas (broadly defined), but it is open to related research areas as well. The workshop will be held annually and its location will rotate each time. Researchers and their students are invited to present their work, and meet with other colleagues that share mutual interests from nearby regions.
