Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! This is sure to be an exciting year in math class. We will build upon the mathematical concepts and skills that you've already learned and develop new tools that can be applied not only to mathematics, but also to a variety of disciplines. By the end of this year, you will be able to apply skills, processes, and techniques to solve problems successfully in a variety of settings.
Extra Help
Extra help will be held after school every Tuesday from 2:45-3:30 and by appointment unless a change is announced at the beginning of the week.

Math 8
This course is designed to provide students with the continued opportunity to develop an understanding of algebraic concepts, leading to taking Algebra I in high school. Emphasis is placed on operations with rational numbers, solving algebraic equations, and understanding linear, exponential, and quadratic relationships through tables, graphs, and equations. The course will also address functions, geometry, and statistics and probability, with the application of these skills and concepts in a problem-solving context.
