Welcome to 1st Grade,

I am so excited that you are in my class this year. My name is Mrs. Silva; I will be your 1st grade teacher. I am sure you have seen me at school and I look forward to meeting and getting to know all of you. During the next few weeks we will be learning so much as we get started.

I will go step by step and explain everything so that everyone understands how to use the websites and learning apps before assigning any work. All you need you to do is try your best and ask questions whenever you need help. Our year will be unlike any before, but I will continue to work hard to make it the best possible.

We will all have to work together to make this year productive, fun, and memorable. Please check emails regularly and join our school communication on ClassDojo. I will need all parents to join so you won’t miss important messages from the class, office, or activities. This will be the easiest way to get a hold of me and share information. I’ll do my best to respond during the end of each day.

In the meantime, I hope you enjoy your last few days of summer vacation and continue to stay safe. I will see all of you on our first day of school on September 8th. Yeah for 1st grade!
