Greetings from MSPP2019!

It gives me great pleasure to invite and welcome you for 33rd Scientific Meeting for Malaysian Society of Pharmacology and Physiology (MSSP2019) which will be held on 15th-16th July 2019 at The Everly, Putrajaya, Malaysia. This year we are excited to have Controlled Release Society, The Malaysia Local Chapter (MyCRS) joining us as co-organizer. To highlight the importance of translational research in the era of rapid progress, the theme “Towards Innovative and Sustainable Research in Drug Discovery” is chosen. This meeting aims to bring together researchers to promote scientific communication between members of the society and provide a platform for researchers to share their research findings and build networking and collaborations. We hope the joining of MyCRS will further broaden the knowledge of participants on the future of delivery science and technology.

This year meeting will focus on 4 research areas: (1) New Frontiers in Drug Discovery; (2) Nanotherapeutics and Drug Delivery; (3) Physiology and Pharmacology in Medical Education and Clinical Practice and (4) Cellular and Molecular Physiology of diseases. This 2-days meeting will have the sharing of the latest research findings not only by world-renowned experts but also our young future researchers through oral and poster presentations. Shortlisted young lecturers will also showcase the work for the opportunity to compete for young researcher award organised by MSPP. A forum to discuss new career opportunities for Physiology and Pharmacology graduates is also arranged to allow the graduates to have an idea on job opportunities in these fields.
