Table Talk consists of a 3-5 minute poster presentation session and a 3-5 minute question-and-answer session for a total of 8 minutes. 1-3 students will participate per school as one team. Only one Table-talk entry is allowed per school. The poster is not to be taller than 5 feet. All props/instructional aids must fit on the table. Participants should prepare their presentation before the convention and are required to completely set up the presentation table prior to the welcome meeting. Schools will be randomly assigned a presentation order during registration & will set up in that spot. Teams will remain in the Table Talk room for the entirety of all presentations. The Table Talk topic for the 2026 Convention is “The Mathematics of Navigation.” Table Talk will overlap with Ciphering Round 1, so participants will be unable to participate in any Ciphering competitions.
