1. Designs should be submitted as a digital file (jpeg, png, etc.) at the highest resolution possible. Designs
must be created digitally - not hand drawn, so that it can be used as a multipurpose logo (name tags, t-shirt pockets, certificates, websites, etc.).
2. Designs will be judged on the criteria of relevance to the theme, creativity, neatness, and attractiveness. The words Mississippi Mu Alpha Theta must be displayed (per the National office) along with the date – April 12 & 13 – and "2026 State Convention". Logos with inappropriate language and/or behavior, violence, alcohol, or deemed inappropriate by the judges WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
3. The designs should be student work only.
4. The design should encompass the theme, “Pi-rates of the Caribbean: The Mathematics of Navigation.”
5. The winning design will be used for printing purposes.
6. The logo should be designed in a 1:1 ratio, circle or square.
Logo is scored by a graphic designer based on adherence to the theme and digital usability.
