About the author

Hi, I’m Selly M., short for Selloane Machitje, and I’m the author of Unbroken: A Single Mother Who Has Seen It All, Unseen, Unvalued but Covered by Grace. I wrote this book from a place of deep truth, drawing from my own journey as a single mother, walking through seasons of being unseen, unvalued, yet always covered by God’s grace.

This story is my testimony. It’s for every woman who has ever felt invisible or forgotten, to remind you that your worth is not defined by your circumstances, and that there is power, healing, and purpose in your pain.

When I’m not writing, I work as a mechanical engineer and enjoy quiet moments with my family and kids. I embrace the everyday routines of motherhood, and I’m incredibly thankful for the life I have, full of love, growth, and grace.
