Reading is important because it improves writing and literacy skills, works on language development, expandeds childrens vocabulary, boosts critical thinking, improves memory & concentration, strengthens communication, and builds comprehension skills. Reading is an everyday skill and it plays a role in our knowledge.

Good literature has great significance for many reasons such as providing insight on cultures, encourages critical thinking skills, helps develop empathy, and it can lead to inspire students, as well as lead to a time of self-reflection.
