Meet the Teacher

Hi I'm Miss. Kokoski or Ms.K for short! I am a first year teacher at Midland Borough School District! I did my student teaching here is Kindergarten as well as 6-8th grade learning support. I recently graduated from Geneva College with a degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. I cannot wait to have your student in my class this year! Seeing their faces light up after they learn something that clicks right into place is something I will never take for granted!

Outside of school, I have a brother who recently graduated from high school and is joining the work force. I also graduated high school about an hour away in Greenville, PA. I have had the privilege of being a Feature Twirler for the Golden Tornado Marching Band for the past 4 years.

My goal for this 1st grade class is that not only become learners but also explorers, thinkers, doers, and visionaries. I want these kids to leave my classroom knowing not only how to read, write, add, and subtract, but that they are valuable human beings with the capability to do anything they put their mind to.
