About me
Welcome to 7th grade math! I am very excited to be your student's teacher for this year and I will start out by telling you a bit about myself. I strive to create a welcoming and safe learning environment for my students. I make sure my students know that they are loved and belong.
I grew up in Southeast Houston and graduated from Sam Houston State University with my bachelors in Education and a concentration in 4-8th grade math. I enjoy drawing, traveling, and hiking. I am really looking forward to seeing my students grow this year.

As a kid, I was always very shy and many times I felt as if teachers did not pay me any attention because I was quiet and did not demand my presence. I want to make children feel seen and heard. Everyone is important and deserves to feel loved and unique. I do not want children to think that they are invisible or no one cares about them. It is my mission to make every child feel included in the classroom.
