Default SMS Service

If you choose to make Messages SMS Launcher App your default SMS application, Android grants the permissions necessary for standard messaging features. These permissions allow the App to send SMS messages you create, receive SMS and MMS messages, display message conversations, and manage your messaging history.

Your SMS data remains on your device and is accessed only to deliver the features you choose to use.

Contacts Permission

Contacts permission allows the App to display your saved contacts, search contact names, start conversations, and create or edit contact information when requested by you. Your contacts are not sold or shared for advertising purposes.

Phone and Call State Permission

The App requests Phone and Call State permissions to support communication-related features and to display an After Call Dialog when a phone call finishes.

The After Call Dialog may show useful information such as:

* Call summary

* Quick access to send a message

* Contact shortcuts

The App detects only the status of a phone call so the dialog appears at the correct time. It does not record calls, access call audio, or listen to conversations.

Notification Permission

Approximate Location

If you grant Approximate Location permission, the App can display local weather information inside the launcher. The App does not require your precise GPS location for this feature.

Launcher Features

When selected as your default launcher, the App provides home screen customization, widgets, folders, app search, and application organization.

To support these features, the App displays basic information about installed applications, such as application names and icons. It does not access the personal data stored within other applications.

Installed Applications

Basic installed application information is used only to organize your launcher, improve app search, and display application shortcuts. This information is not used to monitor your activity inside other apps.

Weather Information

Weather forecasts displayed in the App are supplied by trusted third-party providers. Although we aim to provide accurate information, forecast accuracy depends on the provider's data.

News and Recommendations

Advertising
