# Msarify Privacy Policy

Msarify is a personal finance and savings tracker that works entirely on your device.
## What we collect
Nothing. Msarify has no account, no server, no analytics, no advertising and no crash
reporting. The developer never receives your data.
## Where your data lives
Everything you enter (transactions, budgets, savings goals, categories, settings) is
stored in a database on your device. That database is excluded from iCloud and device
backups. It leaves the device only when you choose to export a backup file. You decide
where that file goes (for example Files, AirDrop or another app), and you can protect it
with a password (Argon2id + AES-256-GCM).
## Microphone and speech recognition
Voice entry is optional. When you use it, Msarify asks for microphone and speech
recognition access. By default, speech is turned into text on your device. If on-device
recognition is not available for your language, Msarify uses Apple's speech recognition
service only after you turn that on in Settings. In that case Apple processes the audio
under Apple's privacy policy. Msarify never records or keeps audio.
## Notifications
Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. No push service is used.
## Deleting your data
Delete the app to remove all of its data from your device. Backup files you exported
stay wherever you saved them.
## Children
Msarify is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
## Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new
date.
