The Missouri Sheriffs' Association provides a Basic Peace Officer Academy (BPOA) throughout the State of Missouri which instills a structured culture consisting of specialized knowledge, skills and abilities with an intrinsic motivation to provide elevated standards of service and protection for the community with honor.
