I'm an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography at Trinity College Dublin. My research focuses on glacial geomorphology and on how changes in Earth's climate system are reflected in glacial landscapes.
My ongoing projects include investigations of past glaciation in the tropics and in the mid-latitudes, as well as methodological research into the techniques we use to assess the timing and rate of landscape change.
I'm also the project lead on the new Irish Ice Age Trail virtual field trip initiative and a collaborator in the open ICE-D Alpine Glacier Database project.
