Hello  Families!

My name is Emily Bedford and I will be your child’s Special Education teacher! This will be my eighth year teaching at Frost Lake. I was previously a first grade teacher and a second grade teacher and now I'm teaching Special Education!

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in English. Go Badgers! I just finished getting my Master's Degree in Special Education. I am passionate about teaching reading and writing which we will be doing a lot of this year! I love to engage students and encourage their curiosity and creativity with the use of the iPad.

In my free time I love to explore St. Paul and Minneapolis, be outdoors, spend time with friends and family, and find new coffee shops to explore! I’m sure your student will have many stories of how they race to find my lost cups of coffee, as the year continues!
