Say it LOUD! Say it PROUD! "I made it to sixth grade!"
I am honored and thankful to guide you through such an exciting year. Sixth grade is no easy task, but if we work at it together we can conquer all that is ahead. The year will challenge us, help us grow, and hopefully give us a few good laughs along the way.
Let me share a little about myself so you know the person who will be learning and growing alongside you this year. My name is Ms. Duncan, and I’m a mom to four amazing kids who are around your age. My house is also full of dogs, a giant poodle and two mini dachshunds. Most importantly, this is my first year licensed teaching, yet I do have 3 years experience in the classroom. I took the longer route to my education and it payed off!
I’ve always loved reading and writing, but I also enjoy staying active. I used to run track and cross country, played soccer, and I’m a big football fan. You'll always find me going to either a pracitce or a game.
My goal this year is simple: work hard, grow a lot, and make some great memories along the way. Sixth grade is an important step in your education, and I’m excited to help prepare you for everything that comes next. Don't be afraid! We can do this together.
