Flip-A-Chip

This student interactive from ReadWriteThink is a novel approach to word study that promotes vocabulary development. The activity provides hands-on practice with affixes and roots, and also promotes comprehension through structural analysis and vocabulary in context. Students "flip a chip" (poker chips with word parts on them) to create multiple words from one root word.
