Data Deletion & Account Termination
Users of Poplingo have the right to delete their accounts and associated data at any time. We provide two methods for this:
1. In-App Deletion (Recommended):
You can directly delete your account within the app by going to the Settings menu and clicking the "Delete Account" button. This action will:
Permanently delete your Firebase Authentication record.
Erase your cloud-saved game progress from our Firebase Firestore database.
Log you out of all devices immediately.
2. Manual Data Deletion Request:
If you wish to request the deletion of any remaining associated data (such as RevenueCat identifiers or analytics records), please:
Send an email to mrsheep.info@gmail.com.
Use the subject line: "Data Deletion Request - Poplingo".
Provide your Advertising ID or a screenshot of your game ID.
What data will be deleted:
Upon request or via in-app deletion, we will wipe your cloud game progress, purchase history mapping, and personalized analytics data. Please note that local game progress is stored on your device and can be cleared by deleting or reinstalling the app.
Retention:
Transactional records related to payments will be retained for a limited period only as required by law (e.g., for tax or financial auditing purposes by Apple/Google).
