Chaparral Elementary Supply List 2020-2021

Sixth Grade

Materials for personal student use in labeled* pencil pouch or box:

• Distance Learning will require a deck of cards and pack of dice (you can find at the Dollar Tree!)

· Pencils (for class work & homework)

· Colored pens (at least 8 colors)

· Colored pencils

· Scissors

· Glue sticks

· Highlighters (assorted colors)

· Ear buds (for desktops, laptops, iPads)

· 1-1” 3 ring binder for Leader in Me binder

· 1 set of 5 tab dividers

· $12 cash donation for Leader in Me instructional supplies (payable to the front office)

· Large bottle hand sanitizer (homeroom teacher)

· 1 bottle liquid glue (homeroom teacher)

· Travel sized deodorant/antiperspirant (keep in backpack for personal use)

*Please label EVERYTHING including lunch boxes, jackets, backpacks, gloves, hats, and instruments. This cuts down on mystery lost and found items.

Supplies Specific to Math/Math Strategies: Mrs. Quinonez & Mrs. Haase

· 2 Composition notebooks for Mrs. Q(Used for all class notes/independent practice work)

· 2 Composition notebooks for Mrs. Haase (used to create resource notebooks/daily notes)

· 1 small (basic) calculator

· 1 package graph paper

· 2 dry erase markers and eraser

Supplies Specific to Language Arts: Mrs. Nielsen

· 2 Composition notebooks (no spiral notebooks)

· 1 Green Poly 3 pronged folder (must be poly, must be pronged, must be green)

Supplies Specific to Social Studies: Miss Rogers

· 2 Composition notebooks (no spiral notebooks)

· 1 Yellow Poly 3 pronged folder (must be poly, must be pronged, must be yellow)

· Index notecards (2 packs of 100)

· 1 Blue Poly 3 pronged folder (must be poly, muse be pronged, must be blue)

**Please keep extra supplies at home to replenish when needed. Go through your child’s backpack to make sure they have the necessary supplies to be successful each week. **
