Andrea Mangolini (AM) is a Ph.D. student in Science and Technology of Materials at the University of Genoa, where he obtained his M.Sc. in Materials Science and Engineering in 2025. His research focuses on the analysis of surfaces and interfaces in iron based magnetic nanoarchitectures by Mössbauer spectroscopy, in order to investigate the correlation between crystal structure, magnetic ordering and magnetic properties.
Research Field: Nanomagnetism, Mössbauer Spectroscopy, Biomedical Applications
Focus Materials: magnetic nanoarchitectures, core-shell magnetic nanoparticles, iron oxides, spinel ferrites, hexagonal ferrites
