Mrs. Cunningham's 4th Grade...Learn to Love---Love to Learn
Celtic Theme 2018-2019
Faith to Move Mountains
Welcome to the fantastic 2018-2019 school year at St. Alphonsus-St. Patrick School! My name is Mrs. Cunningham, and this is my sixteenth year teaching, and my fourth year teaching at St. Als-St. Pats. This year I will be teaching 4th grade, and I am very excited about it! I earned my degree in Elementary Education from Northern Illinois University and my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Governor's State University. I spent 12 years teaching in both Catholic and public schools before taking a leave to raise my own children.
Outside of the classroom I enjoy reading, cooking, traveling, and crafting! I spend a lot of time keeping up with my own family, my husband, Sean, and our 2 children, John(12) and Cassie(10). We are a Lemont family, and we truly enjoy being a part of the Village of Faith.
This year I have many plans for the students in my classroom! We will read, write, and explore all areas of the curriculum with a main focus on our faith. If you ever have a question or concern about a topic being taught, or how your child is doing in class, please feel free to contact me so we can discuss your concerns.
Remember to read every night! Check out my homework page for details about our week and current assignments.
