Hello Families!

I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year. This will be my 8th year teaching. I have experience teaching  K5 and First Grade.

I have a Bachelor’s degree, as well as a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Mars Hill University. I believe that all students can learn, no matter where they come from, and deserve the opportunity to do so in a safe environment, where they feel welcome, and can learn in a way that works best for them. 

Outside of school, I love spending time with my husband, our son Jamie, and our chocolate lab, Mia. We enjoy spending time with our family and friends. I love cookouts, drinking iced coffee and exercising. I am very excited to meet you all and begin this school year at Sugar Ridge Elementary!
