About Our Class....................

This is a Blended classroom!

• Therefore students will complete daily academic work using computers and textbook curriculum.

About a third of the student's assignments will be completed in an online format. Students will also be assigned videos to watch on a daily basis to prepare for class the next day.

This means, less lost assignments and less paper! It also means that you are able to receive daily updates informing you of their progress. Students can also repeatedly watch/learn content that was taught to gain proficiency.

The best part: They can work on their assignments from ANYWHERE at ANYTIME!

All they need is their phone, a tablet, or a computer.

• Students complete Open Up Resources math curriculum as well as other supplemental resources for reinforcement using paper and pencil format.

• About half of our in-class work is done in groups/partners, thus requiring active participation from all students. The other half is completed independently. (Students learn best by doing, not watching!)

• Student create Interactive Notebooks throughout the entire school year to use a a resource and reference guide .
