Mrs. Gricius' English Language Arts

About Me:

I grew up in Springville Utah, GO DEVILS! After graduating from SHS I decided to continue my education at Utah Valley University studying English Education. In the midst of busy college life I met my husband and we were married in January of 2017. He is currently studying to be a Mechanical Engineer--we could not be more opposite! Our first daughter was born at the beginning of August this year, and we love spending time with her! In our free time as a family we enjoy camping, fishing, hunting, playing sports, and basically anything that involves being outside. In addition to all of this I have a passion for reading and will read anything I can get my hands on. I am an avid Young Adult Literature fan and love books such as, The Hunger Games and Harry Potter. My goal as an educator is to help all my students stretch themselves and improve both their reading and writing skills, while also practicing the more crucial critical thinking skills needed for success in life after high school.
